Our clients wanted their front garden to be much more than somewhere to park the car. The existing space was tired, dominated by worn paving and weeds, and offered little warmth or kerb appeal. They wanted an attractive, welcoming entrance that would work hard for everyday family life by incorporating off-street parking, bike storage and bins, while creating a beautiful first impression that reflected the style of their home.

We completely reimagined the space, replacing the old hard landscaping with a contemporary driveway inspired by the sunburst pattern found inside the house. Flowing planting beds soften the paving with layers of Mediterranean-inspired planting in calming blues, purples and whites, while lavender, rosemary, alliums and abundant wisteria bring colour, scent and seasonal interest.

Evergreen hedging creates privacy around the garden without blocking natural light, and wisteria has been added to soften the facade with ample space for off-road parking and a green roof bin store ensure the garden is every bit as practical as it is beautiful. The result is a welcoming front garden that elevates the house, supports wildlife and proves that even the most functional spaces can become destinations in their own right.
